Description

This module will take the form of a ten-week field placement (3 days per week) with an appropriate agency, operating in the fields of restorative justice, mediation or victim services. The choice of agency will also be made in consultation with the unit supervisor and includes, but not is restricted to, a formal criminal justice agency. The precise focus of study will depend to some extent on the choice of placement agency, but each placement should provide an opportunity to gain first hand experience of a range of policy-related, practice-related, evaluative or ethical issues which students will be expected to relate their academic study on the companion module in Restorative Justice, Mediation and Victimology.
